* Work with top fight coordinators in the film industry using cameras as a tool to hone your fight skills.
* This class starts with a comprehensive system that teaches practical techniques on how to make fight sequences work on film.
* Adults of all skill levels are encouraged to join us.
* This workshop will culminate with filming a fight sequence you can use for your reel!
Day 1 will concentrate on hand to hand combat:
Learn slapping, punching, kicking, evading, reacting and falling techniques.
Learn how action moves are part of a character’s dialogue and the most effective camera angles for filming fight scenes.
Put it all together on camera.
Day 2 will focus on sword fighting techniques:
Learn to fight with the classic pirate weapon, the cutlass.
Learn timing, distance and safety and how to make the illusions of sword combat look real on film.
Develop 'on camera' awareness while performing fight combinations for your reel.
Cost is $450 - $395 if paid in full in advance for 2 days of training in hand to hand and cutlass fighting for the camera.
Cost is $250 for 1 day of training for either day 1 or day 2.
